ARTISTS STATEMENT
I have always had confidence issues with my body and it's been only fairly recently that I've had this revelation that there are no 'good' bodies and 'bad' bodies - just bodies. This weird scale we've been presented with only leads to self-loathing and low confidence and eating disorders - all in all, a lot of very unhappy people. I decided to do ISM because I want to be proud of my body, in all its idiosyncrasies and perceived 'flaws'. It's variety that makes life so much fun and the more you love your body, the more fun you can have with it. It was so awesome to be naked with a big happy smile on my face.

biggest passion in my life: Conversation. My favourite people are those with whom you can have those chats that go as deep as the ocean and expand your mind somehow
I like to listen to: Music that connects to something transcendent and eternal. One of my favourites is Pink Floyd
I like to watch: The sky, Any time of day or night. It reminds me to have some perspective
I like to smell: The vacuum cleaner smell. I'm not even a very clean person but this is one of my favourites
I like to taste: Grapes. I've been known to eat them until physically sick
I like to feel: That place deep within me which is always calm, quiet and still
favourite part of my body: My eyes. They change colour and sometimes have a yellow-ish sunny centre
favourite part of someone else's body: The point at the back of the neck. Or just below the belly button
Why i shot myself: I have never been that confident in my naked body and ISM has been the absolute best confidence booster. I had so much fun!
who I'd least like to see shoot themselves: Everyone should shoot themselves!!
Bands I like: Depends on my mood, I like electro-swing for when I feel like a boogie. Trance, Psytrance, Techno for when I want more serious tanzen; folk for when I feel like a sing and a strum of the guitar
Books I like: I recently read Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance. Mind blown. I like books that you read and come of out of the experience somehow changed and this one was definitely that
Films I like: Artsy stuff, with meanings. The most recent film I watched was Enter the Void, which was maybe a little too much even for me. But that kinda thing
