ARTISTS STATEMENT

I am a confident, strong, happy young woman, I embrace my sexuality as a woman on the daily and I thrive on a sexy unique personality that comes from the inside and radiates on the outside. I have found myself growing out of societal judgement and I believe strongly that the way you carry yourself comes from how connected you are with your soul and the more you understand the incredible energy that makes you, you! I realised that it doesn't matter how I am perceived because I am loved. In all my nakedness, i feel cheeky, playful, innocent, raw and open. In my photographs i found a unique side of myself peeking through, a side of myself that reminded me of the childlike April, the imaginative bubbly child that at that point in her life didn't have any boundaries or limitations on herself, her appearance or the world around her... This is me, take it or leave it type of feeling, no exceptions, no fears, no judgement just my little old naked self, a forest to play in and an imagination running wild. I'm grateful to have the opportunity to share with the world how April see's April, naked and fucking beautiful.

Why i shot myself: For the sense of freedom, to eliminate stigma, the more the body is perceived naturally, the less it is a sexualised entity. The body is a shell for the most beautiful part of ourselves...the soul
who I'd least like to see shoot themselves: No one, I want to see all your dangley bits, lumps and bumps in all their glory...as long as you want me to see them
