ARTISTS STATEMENT
I've always thought naturism was a bit nutty, not very comfortable. not very practical in the winter surely... I haven't always been comfortable in my own skin. Sometimes, it's hard to break free from the notion that you are supposed to look or be a certain way. These pressures can come from anywhere, from school or a religion or even the people closest to you, your family. Tradition can be very hard to go hard against. Unfortunately our society is judgmental and image-based a lot of the time, this affects everyone, man, woman, white, black whatever. We all seek acceptance but in the end up trying to prove ourselves to the point of exhaustion. For some, competition with man made perfection is a daily struggle. I shy away from reading glossy fashion magazines, taking too many selfies, watching trash tv and all for the same reason, to avoid the celebrity culture bullshit. This shell that I walk around and do my stuff in is just that, I am the beauty of me. I used to be about 3 stone heavier than I am now. I've always been a happy go lucky person but I felt shit. A change of mind, bicycle and tonne of organic veggies later and I'm feeling great. The experience taught me that in the grand scheme of life, my wobbly bits don't matter. Whether I'm fat or skinny doesn't change who I am as a person, and I like who I am. I realized that you can be as skinny and as picture perfect as you like but you can still be a bitch! ISM was a great way for me to affirm that. Instantly after taking photos I felt like, "fuck yeah!" It's hard to describe but it's a feeling of taking on world one nude photo at a time. You'll have to try it yourself to know what I'm chatting on about. Thanks feck! You're all wonderful.

favourite part of someone else's body: nice strong, broad shoulders and chest that I can lie in and feel safe and snuggled
Why i shot myself: I was loving life, at first it's a bit invasive and you feel like a dick but then you kind of get lost in it and a bit too carried away!

my website/fav website: Shockmansion.com The sickest shit that is going down in the world today, usually reported first hear. Tattoos, skate boarding and extreme sports, anything cool!
Most outrageous thing I have done: Inexplicably ended up in a barn, shoeless, miles from any civilisation after a messy gig the night before
Bands I like: from Lamb of God to Led Zeppelin to The cure, I love gigs and finding out about bands, being turned onto a band/artist by a friend or randomer you met.
Books I like: Autobiographies, in particular Ozzy Osbournes' OzzMan or Anthony Keidis Scar tissue. I love to get lost in a book, where your head is so far in it the rest of the world disappears.
Films I like: Forrest Gump, Matilda, Wedding singer, I think film is fantastically clever, and have tried to follow it and its cult classics since the invention of cinema.
