"I shot these photos in my bedroom, in the morning just about when the sun peeks out from the clouds. Accepting change as it comes was my inspiration while shooting. As I was about to move to a different environment, all my personal belongings were packed up and there just remained some pieces of furniture. It made me think about how everything in life, emotionally as well as physically is translucent. We are always rising and falling, processing, healing. Our bodies too, constantly change as we age. And it's all miraculously beautiful. I would say the sun was a challenge to deal with when it came to the lighting, you never know what it's next move might be, constantly disappearing and re appearing. After the shoot, I felt relaxed and reflective. It was nice to have a look at myself naked and just absorb every inch of my body, accepting that it is always changing just as my experiences keep on changing and expanding. I also deeply appreciated to shoot in the space which I'll be leaving behind. It will be a beautiful intimate memory!"
